Taqueria El Portalito - Annapolis

I absolutely love this restaurant. There are only a few authentic Hispanic eateries in my area, and this one is my favorite. Some places might have better dishes in certain areas, but this restaurant has its own strengths. Whenever I visit, I know the yucca will always be excellent, and the picaditas are my personal favorite. My wife really enjoys the flautas. We've never been disappointed with our meals here.

WOW! We stopped in here on our way home to Richmond and bought a bunch of various plates to take home for dinner. The Pupusas were incredible, cheese and beans, and my taquitos were incredible. Those were carne asada and it was as good as I've ever had. We are planning a drive back just to eat here again.

The staff were friendly, and the pupusas were excellent. The carne asada was the best I've had so far, with the meat being exceptionally soft and tender. The taquitos were also good. However, I wasn't a fan of the Desayuno Típico.

Great food..takes a while to cook. I suggest calling your order in about 20 min. ahead. But it's worth the wait.

The food here is absolutely amazing—definitely the best I've ever had. The service is quite slow, but that won't stop me from coming back!
