My egg rolls were stale, the rice was kind of hard, my chicken was over. I also cut what I thought was a big piece of chicken to my surprise it was shrimp. Luckily, I'm not allergic, but if I were? was bad. I should just go to China Dragon in Elk River. Your food is always warm and perfect.
When I was here a lot more often, the woman who works here began to ask me if I got my ordinary order when she walked me into Haha? You're kind. The food is made fresh, stays hot for what feels like a really long time, and usually microwaves good when you store some for later. If you store the Wintons for later, although I recommend air frit, not microwave, or they get more hard and rubbery texture. Air Fritte for three minutes and they're like new, maybe a bit more crisp. Never sweat. Very good chicken, no matter what plate it is. Waiting times that are estimated at the doorstep are always longer than it actually happens when you place it for pickup. You can also order directly via the site of the site or call in an order and pay when you come there; very convenient.
I decided to try a new Chinese place for a special night. Overall, I was disappointed in my pickup order, and expected much better food based on the favorable reviews and prices. I paid over $30 for 2 Entrees, one with ?fried rice, and an order of cream cheese wontons. The Wintons were good, but the rest of the food wasn't so much. Sesame chicken was barely ok, but too much bread and it sat in over 1/2? Oil in the bottom of the container and most pieces were soggy. I spilled the oil before I gave the person for whom it was ordered. The fried one? Rice was nothing more than yellow-coloured rice with some peas and tiny carrots and onions. Scotland beef was the worst. There was nothing wrong about it, to taste. The strongest taste was of oil, and I don't know what kind, but it didn't taste well. The beef must have been cheap and immersed in oil to make it tender because it had no texture of beef, it was just slim of oil. The vegetables in them were nothing special, not fresh. The sauce was terrible. It was not spicy at all and the taste was not recognizable until the oil. I guarantee that the oil they use is very cheap. You need to cut back on the oil and add some taste and good spices. Many of these reviews must be fake because I can't believe there would be many rave reviews for their food. I won't come back. Very disappointed.
The food of the restaurant was very good! I was on China Dragon website, the order goes through door bag. I received a message from Wells Fargo, which states that the transaction was calculated 3 separate times and they refuse to pay it because it goes to a fraud account. I called and spoke to the manager. I asked for a receipt because I never got one. The manager told me she couldn't give me. Very frustrated, charged 3 times. The original price when I checked out online was $35 less than what I was actually charged after delivery. I was charged three times $117. This is an update, an hour later they tried to load my account 2 several times. The first transaction went through why they tried four times, I don't know. I also spoke to the van to make sure he picked up the tip left for him on the veranda. So I paid a lot. I'll never order anything that goes through the door lock.
We have tried 5 other Chinese restaurants in the area with not good luck, until we found this place! The food here is amazing, best in the twin cities suburbs we have found. Big portion sizes for their take out, we got two nights worth of meals in each container. The wontons are soft with a nice crunch. We got the orange chicken, the happy family from the chefs special, and the thicker noodles, are all so tasty. Egg drop soup is in a huge container too. All the food was steaming hot when we got home 45 minutes later, they did a good job packaging and preparing the food. I think I found our new favorite Chinese Restaurant. If you are looking for a good one in the area, try this one!
