AYCE crab legs on Friday have always been good for us, lots of extras offered with them as well. The burgers are good, sandwiches are good, wings are good .. haven't had anything bad on the menu actually! ****'s are stacked!! Full meal stacked.
TO CHARGE $21. FOR A SALAD with ONLY Bacon crumbles???!!!! Are you kidding me?!! NO meat, Not even a piece of bread?! ONLY VEGETABLES? That atmosphere is not the Waldorf Astoria! If you can't afford to make it, take it off the menu. We use to come 9 times a year, Average. No one likes to be taken advantage of...
Wifey and I wanted to try a new place for dinner and came across Tavern at Green Haven. Everything we had to eat was so good! Cream of Chicken Wild Rice Soup... seriously some of the best I've had. Their Cowboy Burger was awesome and so were the fries. We finished it off with their Homemade Key Lime Pie, which was also really good. So glad we tried somewhere new thank you for the great eats!
We only go here for the all-you-can-eat crab legs. When they prepare it right, it's great! When they don't, it's iffy. However, we've only experienced one bad time but have had several great experiences. The atmosphere is junk as the room is out-of-date and tacky, but the food and service is great!Food: 5/5
We had a party reservervation of 9- family from around the country, and from the get go, the server was very rude. It was 5:30 and we were rushed to order, as if the kitchen were closing. The place had a couple other smaller tables sat, but nothing too crazy. The server then forgets to take my order, so we had to track him down. I had a roasted burger, which had some nice ingredients- but the seasoning on the roasted tomatoes does not pair well with the rest of the ingredients, and the bottom bun was soaked from a waterfall of grease and tomato juice (which were placed under the patty). Overall the food was just ok, and for a 19 dollar burger, it was a big let down. The server was rude throughout most of the experience- he seems to be too good for his job or something. My family has been coming to Greenhaven for many years- some tonight, even worked there in the 80's. It was a sad experience, that had we a better server, may have been decent. I cannot recommend this restaurant. It is overpriced, and average food at best. Try and ask the bartender for some water! Rude employees, ruining what could have been a decent time- and for some long time patrons to have had service like this? Best of luck, Green Haven. Hopefully the course can keep you on par.
