Warszawa Polish - Ansonia

I am saddened to hear that this beloved local restaurant is closing. I wish the owner all the best. The Polish food served here is some of the best I have ever tasted.

Absolutely wonderful!! Ate here with some friends and sampled a variety of food it's was all great!!

I heard that the business is now up for sale. The food at this restaurant could be good and flavorful, but unfortunately, it was served cold (golabki ziemniaki) with no explanation. The restaurant was supposed to be ready for customers at 12 pm, but when we arrived for lunch at 12:15 pm, it seemed as though the owner was surprised by our presence. I hope that the next owner will take food quality more seriously. The service was dine-in style for lunch, with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person.

So authentic. From the food to the owner. Everything here is incredible. Talk to Mike and ask him about his cat. Pierogis are legit and wash down beautifully with some zywiec and zubrowka after.

Pork chops perfecty cooked, perogies, great soups (tripe, and goulash) were delicious! Excellent service, and very friendly. The owner is awesome. An amazing place for a home cooked meal. They are the real deal.Cant wait to come back. Highly recommended!!!
