The only reason I was given my sandwich was because I complained it had been twenty minutes and he makes the falafel in 30 seconds. That begs the question, why not do it this fast or even half the speed and not make people wait. The manger/owner? Questioned the veracity of it having been 20 minutes but in reality it had been longer. A. Squeaky wheel gets the grease so always speak up and B. Don't question the customer like that. Never will go back in large part because the sandwich was 3/10 and the service took so ridiculously long.
The falafel was crisp, but I felt the portion was really small for 5 Euros (at L'As du Falafel in Paris, you get a massive portion for 6 Euros...this felt like a hot pocket in comparison) and didn't contain enough salad. But, it was a great cheap alternative to the many high priced options in Antibes.
The seasoning and sauce was a bit surprising and not what I'm accustomed to in a Falafel wrap. The shawarma wasn't quite as bad.
Bit fed up of french food, we stumbled across this place. Left it up to the chef to make us a kebab, it was great, but we were still hungry so he knocked us up another to share, which he though we would enjoy- we sure did!
We are not picky when it comes to food but watching the "chef" touching money, wiping his hands on his nasty apron, smoking a cigarette, talking on the phone and making our food with no gloves or a sink around to justify...priceless.
