Specialty Raspberry margarita had too many seeds. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My dining partner and I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a local business owner. The place turned out to be pretty good (a 3.5 star but since Yelp won 't give half stars, I 'm giving a bump up). The way it filled up during our visit, it seemed to be a restaurant favored by the locals. While the decor is dated and the service was ho-hum, the menu offered enough variety for most anyone to find something to eat. I ordered the fried chicken and my partner had the burrito special. I started my meal with a salad from the salad bar. While it offered only a modest number of items, everything was fresh. I preferred the small salad bar to none at all. My chicken arrived steaming hot. It was moist and tasty. My mashed potatoes came with the gravy on the side as I ordered. Overall, I found it satisfied my hunger. My dining partner had the chicken burrito (which was recommended by the waitress). While hot and filling, my dining partner called it alright and lamented not ordering the chicken. Overall, the community suffers from too many fast food places and not enough local restaurants. If I visited again, I 'd certainly opt for this restaurant versus any of the fast food joints.
