Gunkel's Bakery - Antigo

I stopped at Gunklel's bakery to buy some Hamburgerbäckchen, but I didn't want much. They were so wonderful to make a package of 6 bungalows instead of 12. The women who waited went out of their way, helpful, friendly and thoughtful. They make real whipped cream cakes. I'm from Chicago and we're spoiled with our fantastic bakeries. Gunkels is a shiny jewel. Wonderful bakery!!!!!

Delicious donut. Soft, moist and delicious. Encourages to try the Flax Hamburger Bungalows this weekend. Lady behind the counter was very nice.

Love this bakery... we always get out of the way when we're in the area to get several breads. The creamy linseed bread and the Cranberry Blueberry (breakfast) are particularly delicious. You even send your order when you call it.

Lovely family run bakery!! Amazing flax bread and bagel products! Best donuts in town, and tons of selection for Christmas cookies!!

One of our favorite places to get fresh donuts from on the weekends. They are consistently producing quality baked goods, if you're in the area and haven't been here it is worth trying out.
