The service was good but the food was lukewarm and overpriced.. I'll be avoiding this place in the future.. a good bar theme but not a decent place to eat
We had supper there on Sunday evening. There was almost no atmosphere. Usually there are some sort of seasonal decorations but the place was just barren. Other than the tv's, which not everyone feels compelled to be glued to, there were no sort of conversation starters or posters to be seen. Our hostess seated us promptly in a convenient location. Our waitress was very friendly. Service was quite quick although the food was nothing to get excited about. The fries were either twice fried or cooked in a fryer that wasn't hot enough. Soggy, visably greasy and barely warm. Our main meals were also pretty blah, nothing I would return for. I did let our waitress know and she was nice enough to pass along the info to her manager. The manager also apologized and very kindly apologized and offered to replace the side along with a free dessert of our choice to make up for the inconvenience. Service was excellent but food was not.
I ate here twice and tried to give it the benefit if the doubt but their food here is just awful .
I have not been a fan of Boston Pizza in the past. Someone gave me some BP gift certificates so decided to try it again in Antigonish. I was surprised at how well the food tasted and how it was prepared. The Chicken Parm with mashed potatoes was excellent. We ordered a pitcher of red sangria which was really good. My son ordered a pizza which I had a slice and have to tell you it was better than I expected and better than I had in the past. Not sure if this is a chain wide change or if this restaurant provides better service and food. For the first time I tried a Doughcano and I have to tell you it is to die for! Strongly recommend this desert and this restaurant while visiting Antigonish.
