The food from the kitchen is as comforting as anything you'll ever eat. From the bangers and mash to the fish and chips as well as the burgers, shepherd's pies, onion rings, and chicken wings. The only thing I didn't spot on the menu was the green pea mash. Their happy hour prices can not be beat. No way no how. If you don't believe me you'll just have to go in and see for yourself. The staff is very amiable and loquacious, as are the customers, who are mostly English speaking. If I needed to I could eat every meal in Antigua here, and that would be fine by me.
Great british pub, real Oase for travelers from Europe, especially from The Islands. Broad offer of beers, cider from California (the taste is poor), food, music and atmosphere. My definite recomendation.
This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, live music and the staff are amazing. Cheap drinks too
Very friendly lady working here. The fish and chips were pretty tasty, although the fish being used was nothing like cod. This is a good thing, most likely it's something local. The happy hour 2 for 1 was a nice touch. Quaint place. Would like to return someday for dessert.
With by far the best British food I've had outside the UK, this place is a little taste of home for me. Try the pies I'm obsessed by them! There's something fun happening most nights (usually live music, but there's also a pub quiz on Tuesdays which is my favourite). Whatever the time of day, it's a really good place to meet people and make friends if you're new in town as everyone who comes here seems to be really friendly.
