We discovered this excellent establishment offering traditional style dishes, with helpful and very friendly staff. Customers could choose sit in the sun or shade, directly overlooking the small sandy cove and blue sea. We fined on squid, a local soup dish and excellent salad. The waiter was very happy describing dishes we weren't familiar with and which we thoroughly enjoyed. The prices are incredibly reasonable.
We have been going to Los Caracolitos several times a year since 2017. The food tapas the staff are wonderful. It’s the best place to go to for an authentic Spanish Canarian meal experience
This was the second visit of a two weeks holiday, we visited on our third day and were highly delighted with everything on offer. The food, the service and friendliness of the staff. Turn to our last day of a very enjoyable two weeks, to have the memory of the holiday soured by our last ever visit. The elderly lady waiter brought the menu to our table, muttered in Spanish and pointed to the menu. We then waited almost twenty minutes before someone, an elderly man, whom we understand to be the cafe owner, came to take our order. We ordered pretty much the same as we had enjoyed the previous week, plus drinks. After ten minutes wait the drinks arrived. Twenty minutes later, a plate of fries came, along with the Canarian potatoes ordered by my wife. We picked at the chips and potatoes as we waited for the accompaniment. The two potato dishes went cold as we asked where the accompanying food was. We were totally amazed to be told that the fries and Canarian potatoes were our starters. WHAT!!?? We waited for what seemed like forever, in fact twenty more minutes, and asked where the rest of our order was. It is coming, we were told, and sure enough almost another ten minutes later the food came to the table. My garlic prawns and mushrooms in a sizzling oil, stopped sizzling as I took out the first prawn. The prawns were grossly overcooked, and what few mushrooms there were, well, they were overcooked and resembled pieces of a rubber tyre. My wife’s chicken, had been sliced so thin and coated in, we presume, some kind of batter, proved too much for her, and she left, almost the whole plate. We received no apologies for the shoddy treatment, and extremely poor service. But instead were presented with a bill just in excess of €40.
Excellent authentic restaurant- beaten by the size of the fish but it was wonderful. Couldn’t book prior to visit as phone not working but easily got a table before it filled up . Excellent service and fabulous food
We had a great experience here! Do not miss it! Everything was perfect. Great service. The food was tasty and fresh. We advise you the pulpo a la gallega and the puntillas. We loved it! We Will definitely come back !
