Sylvia's Country Kitchen - Antioch

I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. It had a nice flavor, but unfortunately, it arrived cold. The garlic bread was also served cold. The ambiance inside was quite dim, and there were Fourth of July decorations everywhere. On a positive note, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would give it a 3-star rating.

The food was terrible. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it tasted like a frozen patty. I didn’t even finish my meal; I just paid and left. The staff was generally friendly, but they didn’t pay much attention to us while we were sitting at the bar.

The food is average at best, but they certainly make an effort to provide oversized portions to make up for it.

Love the traditional diner experience and this is what Sylvia brings!

Food was hot fresh plus the portions were pretty large. Staff was also friendly.
