Cafe de la Gare - Antony

Had a lunch here. I was a bit late, but they were able to provide a very fast service. I liked the duo of fish and the price was very reasonable.

I pass this place almost daily on the way to work and every now and then stop by for a coffee or a glass of wine. In the past few month, the quality of their coffee has deteriorated to a level that it is not even worth paying the (for France) high price of 2:20 for watered down tasteless espresso. Their house wine used to be one of the better ones you could always rely on, but lately that has also change to something pretty disgusting.I have not tried their food lately so I can't say anything about their food, but judging by the change in quality of their service and drinks, I am not going to recommend eating there either.

I pass this place this almost every day and see people sitting there looking at their phones or talking to their friends, but I never went in, until one day, had to wait for a friend and went in for a quick coffee. Staff are friendly, the prices are good and to my surprise, their food was pretty good too. So don't judge it by it's look, it is a nice surprise for you who don't want to look around for a place to relax while waiting for your flight or bus.

This is a typical french style brasserie and café. Just where you would expect it: near a subway station for your convenience. To meet with people, have a coffee, a lunch. The atmosphere is just nice. On top of that, the waiters are quick and correct. It's a pleasure to go there time and time again.
