Black Smoke - Antwerpen Belgie

Black Smoke was already couple of years on our “bucket list” to visit. The setting is really nice and welcoming. We have tried Bonanza full experience. the meat was very tasty and it is really a lot! Pulled pork beef are the winners. It is worth visit, though on the expensive side. The meat courses were served a bit too fast, we didn’t finish one and second one was on the table already. It is better to give more time between the servings. Moreover we have waited afterwards “literally” one hour to get a dessert , which is extremely long. Also requested coffee was forgotten. In the beginning of the dinner waiters were very attentive, but strange enough when it was quieter in the restaurant, it was quite a challenge to order drinks.

Very nice place. Good menu, price is high and doesn’t really worth it. We had there lunch, drinks and dinner. Service was very slow and lunch time but fast at dinner. We totally liked everything, but over the day we paid this place €200 and at the dinner we got some problem with our dinner bill we got some extra potato in bill (we ordered one but they gave us 2 portions together (maybe because they thought it’s for 2 people so it’s HAVE to be 2 portions, but no , and I ordered 1 wine one type and 2 wine another type. I even said to server girl exact name of the wine, but, apparently, it was too hard for her to remember, so she just put same wine in the bill again. I am sure 100% it was different wine, a bit cheaper, but when it was time to pay, I saw same wine again, more expensive. We kindly asked change wine price and remove 1 potato, but first we got some voucher. Like “come again and get free drink”. We don’t want free drink, we want money. We had to ask few times, very nicely and in the end service girl said “I had to make some calls and you got good wine (I’m sure not so here you are” and she was so nervous she even dropped our money on the table. Anyway, we liked place. But TOO MUCH expensive. Doesn’t worth it.

If you are willing to pay for really great grilled or smoked meat ... Look no further. Heaven is located on the fourth floor behind a devilishly lighted corridor. The waiters serve each dish with a smile and an explanation. We had the big BBQ platter for 4 and some of their signature cocktails. Amazing! If your are not a really big eater, restrict your order to one platter, they serve a LOT on those plates

I had a wonderful birthday celebration at this restaurant. The steaks were cooked perfectly to my liking. The nachos were outstanding! I also enjoyed a Bolleke De Koninck to accompany my meal. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the meat. This is definitely a top choice for steak lovers! PS: They also have vegetarian options available.

This restaurant is charming with a great atmosphere and amazing food. We ordered cheeseburgers, baby potatoes, and mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon, all of which were prepared wonderfully and tasted extremely delicious. The Moscow mule was perfectly crafted with a generous amount of alcohol and served in the appropriate cup with a straw. The ribs also looked appetizing and the portions were genuinely large.
