Best mussels I've had in my life, the house recipe specifically. Insanely generous dessert portions. Great authentically Belgian restaurant. Good service, kind people, charming ancient building attached to the cathederal and a realxed atmosphere made for a delightful evening.

Very nice ambiance, the restaurant is in an old Belgian house and it is very cozy and nicely decorated. The service was very good and the staff extremely friendly. The menu has a wide selection and the prices are accessible. The wine card has a few nice selections and the house wine is not bad. The food is prepared very good and presented very nice, but the quality of the meat could be a lot better. (The problem lies with the butcher, not the chef) I gave a rating of 4 stars for the excellent ambiance and service.

We ordered warm goat cheese as starters which was really tasty. Then 2 mussels cooked in white wine. It smelled a bit weird but we didnt get poisoned at the end so i guess it was ok. The portions are quiet big. House wine is... average! The waitress was nice and sincere. The place has a lot of potential (location, space, ambiance etc. But the interior design is somewhat unmatching.
