I've been there twice, but once was sick and didn't taste well, and the next time I went, it was sweet
A small but popular tonkatsu joint in one of the lesser known parts of Anyang. They only serve lunch starting at 11:30 PM but the lines get quite long afterwards. Due to the number of cuatomers most of the service is a help-yourself type. Keep in mind that you have to pay in order to get on the waiting list. The restaurant doesn't open on Mondays.
Pork Cutlet. There is the famous small restaurant serving the pork cutlet near the Indoegwon station. We tried several times to visit this restaurant but couldn't try. Whenever we come here it would be on Monday when it is the day off. Finally, we tried the famous it for lunch this afternoon. But I had to pay first at the machine standing outside and then had to wait for the owner's calling. The unmanned service way made me embarrassed too much. I don't like to wait for having something outside, especially such as this muggy weather. A few munites later, we could be seated in the hall but we had to bring some folks and knives. Here was a totally self-service restaurant. It was very terrible for me but I had to endure the unconvinced situation for the main plate. The warm vegetable soup served before the main had a great flavor and it made me look back on my 20's. By the times there were a lot of restaurants served like this. The main plate was not my expectation, the sauce was too sweet for me and the outer of meat was too hard to eat as well. I think that the quality of the meat and service were not matched with its $9 (9,000 KRW) as well.
Delicious pork cutlet, which is based on the old recipes!
