What a great surprise! I waited for a tire repair and a wonderful afternoon here. the manager owner was enthusiastic. I had a great pasta dish and suppe and enjoyed everything so much I bought two beautiful pizzas for the family for later. the clientel seemed like regular and young love the place. I will be sure to be back when I am in the city for work.
The bread alone gives this place 5 stars! It is sweet restaurant with very attentive and wonderful service. It can accommodate large parties and small groups. They offer delicious bread rolls and diving oil to start. We also tried the garlic knots and were pleasantly surprised by the amount we got for the money. The portions are generous! We tried, too? Pasta your way? where you choose which noodle and sauce you want. We have the spaghetti bolognese and linguini carbonara. Will definitely come back!
When I went into the door, the family atmosphere met me like a wave. the people who manage this place of the highest quality and eat it fits him. I had a stromboli that I usually avoid because they cause mumie and unbreeding. this place was a complete opposite. the fresh garlic in the crust. the salty nuts of the mozzarella, the quality of the pfefferoni and thin disc sausage. everything deserves the little kiss. this restaurant is an hour and a half from my home in greenville, but it is worth several times. I am definitiw back.
We heard great reviews and thought we finally found a Authentic Classy Italian Restaurant... WRONG! It is sad that it was nothing special and expensive for what we got. Biggest dissapointment ever! We got seated in a booth next to a table of 6 with a patron super loud, we then get our dipping bread in a paper bag really? Ordered the zucchini fritti and it was over fried, we ordered Chicken Francese and Chicken Parmesan both with Capellini, the Francese got delivered with linguini. Had to reorder the pasta ugh! I asked for the sauce to be on the side for the Chicken Parm and the waiter reported that the Kitchen cannot honor that request (no class), never have I been treated like that. We drove 23 miles one way to have Chicken parm about 5 1/2 inches in diameter for $19.00 (I can get a Costco 5 lb Roaster for $4.95 , and yes there was cost associated in preparing it). Well let it be known NOT PLANNING IN GOING AGAIN.
