Meade Street Bistro - Appleton

Meade Street Bistro is a hidden gem!! Don 't let the strip mall location fool you, this is a lovely spot, with a beautiful (full) bar and a private room. There is a lot of room for a larger gathering, but the space feels cozy. I was especially thrilled to learn that they have a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu! This is in addition to their large normal menu with tons of options for an omni eater. My cauliflower tacos were amazing, and my husband had a fish version that he loved as well. I 'll be back here, next time with my book club group!

A friend asked if I?d be willing to try this place for our lunch date. Once I saw their menu online I was willing to give them a shot. They have a full bar in addition to the most amazing food. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. They told us they source all of their meat locally from the Meat Block. I had the salmon toast (and I can?t wait to have it again and my friend had the caprese salad with smoked salmon added to it. Both were amazing!! Salmon toast pictured:

I'm stingy with my reviews. But this place really deserves this rating. The service is just incredible. These are people who are actually excited to serve you their food, and it shows. The antipasto platter is delicious. The New York strip is great. The potatoes are absolutely amazing. AND...our kids (ages 8-15) loved it as well. To top it off, the ambiance both inside and outside is super pleasant. Do yourselves a favor and bring your family here, and I noticed they can host parties too.

I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant and was so impressed. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. Danielle, our server, was delightful.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant thanks to Sony and her team. The bartenders were great and our group of 12 had all of our meals served hot and at the same time. The kitchen was accommodating to all dietary restrictions and appetites. The restaurant even has a fantastic private section in the back for small get-togethers. Everything was awesome and we definitely plan on returning. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone reading this!
