Red Sea Grill - Aqaba

Red Sea Grill is part of the MovenPick Resort in Aqaba, Jordan. While we check in at the hotel, we have the reservation for dinner and review lady gave us 25% discount. It is close to the Red Sea beach and whole surroundings is very welcoming. The hotel staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. We started with Arabic mezzanine and garlic shrimp served with humus and bread along with red Jordan wine. I ordered Arabic style fish and really enjoyed it. I eat fish with bones and spices. My son in law ordered Red Sea Grill special, which I recommend for taste and experience. It is baked in tomb of salt and it was discovered on the table. It was also delicious. I recommend this place to all Aqaba visitors.

My wife and I enjoyed an unforgettable meal at the Red Sea Grill on the 4th. May. The grill is located on a small balcony overlooking the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba. You can see the lights of the Eilat and Sinai mountains over the Gulf. The waiting staff was friendly and efficient. We both ate a fish dish (fish Harrah), which was delicious. The Jordanian Sauvignon wine we ordered was also quite good. This is not a cheap restaurant, but the price reflects the quality of food and the beautiful surroundings in a beautiful hotel. Very recommended.

We had an OK dinner at this restaurant, but no more than that. My girlfriend had the Arab Fish which was great, but my salmon dish was a bit burnt. Not the worst, but at this place I expect better. Also, the prices were pretty high, and service charge and tax was not included in the menu price and came as an addition. But the worst was the service of the male waiter. He only contacted me, and my girlfriend felt like air. Even when my girlfriend ordered something he had his eyes on me and asked for my opinion. Pretty rude, and very inpolite. The night got a lot better with the waitress Ana. She was very, very polite, and respectful to both me and my girlfriend. This restaurant would definately have gotten 2 stars, but Ana made it worth 3 stars. 5 stars for her service. Summary: Pretty good food (one of two dishes great), expensive, some inpolite waiters.

Amazing service. The food was excellent with a small Moroccan swirl. The view was incredible, the staff took care of us so well. The shrimp cup was phenomenal. Very recommended if you change the pace of food and you want top notch service.

My husband and I went there for a date night, honestly this place is way over rated and priced, you have to pay for the water, really! Also, they did not have napkins, when I asked for napkins, they got me some paper towels. The service and food were poor compared to the price and our expectations from a 5 star hotel restaurent. There were no signs to lead us to the restaurant, and we hardly found anyone to ask. All in all, will never go back again.
