1967 - Arâches-la-Frasse

After 3 days of cheese and potatoes we thought we would go to this place. I have to say it was fantastic. The meat had everything that you want. My daughters who are not big meat eaters were stealing my food. The deserts were great. Oh and try the cheap cote de Rhone, it was divine.

We were fortunate enough to try 1967 on our first day in Flaine. The food, drinks and service was so good we went back every day either for lunch or drinks. Perfect location for coming straight from the mountain or lifts. Would highly recommend! Special mention to Louise who was our server for most of the week. Thank you!

It’s a cosy strip of a place with a long bar. Service was good. Veggie dish sound and wine excellent. Nice vibe.

Ate at 1967 on Saturday evening with two friends. They seated us at the bar until our table was ready and were happy to make cocktails to our request in addition to what was on the menu. Once seated we were served an excellent meal of terrine and pate starters followed by lamb and veal mains. We were too full for dessert although the selection was very tempting. All in all an excellent visit very much at the upper end of what you might find in a ski resort.
