The bread was a huge round loaf for which we were charged 3 euros) and while ok had no hope of finishing- what a waste. The salad was below par as lettuce watery and too much vinegar in dressing. After we decided we didn't want desert but were offered liqueurs- I had assumed that he because they were offered they would be on the house, but we were charged for them! Although the lamb was good quality I felt the final bill of 57 euros was too much.
4 of us stopped in Aranda for lunch, had no special plan but needed food. On entering we were told the food was lamb fine by us we ordered some morcilla for openers and then were presented with an enormous plate of, just cooked in the wood oven, lamb and a lovely fresh salad. I have to say the lamb was amazing. I don't know how we ate it all, but it was too good to leave. Next time I will make a detour to eat here thanks for a great (but brief) memory
We walked in off the street and were made most welcome. We were offered a lamb dish for four of us and it was delicious. Good service. We will return.
