Kaloyanova Fortress - Arbanasi

Enjoyed the food, service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely

Arbanasi a historical place that is worth visiting.

We were taken here as part of a Viking River Cruise on shore excursion, and used this location as a coffee/tea/water and restroom stop while travelling. This is a fake castle (Schloss) building that look as if it is used for lunch and dinner type events. The outside grounds were very nice though with gardens etc.

Stayed at the hotel, nothing special but it's ok for a 1 star hotel. Got the VIP room, once you use the jakuzzi, the whole bathroom would be wet and won't drain well, so you had to go in bearfoot at all times. The AC was super loud, the furniture was pretty used and kinda broken (bed, sofa). The room was not cleaned for the 3 nights we were there. Breakfast was the same every day and there weren't many choices. Dined in one night, the food was not good but the staff was friendly.
