We stopped here for breakfast while in the area. Great, friendly service. The breakfast is SO good. They have a wonderful menu it’s hard to pick just one thing! I recommend steering away from the deserts they are quite bland. We will be back when in the area! This place has a ton of great options for food. I would highly recommend dinning here and trying something new. Only recommendation I have is maybe avoid some of there deserts. We tried 3 different options and all of them really lacked any flavor. Overall I will definitely be coming back. A hidden gem behind the Kwik Trip on the corner of 51 and 70. The Wild Boar has an extremely vast and unique menu offering game meats and their own bakery items. The inside was charming, a traditional looking Northwoods establishment, and it was very clean. The two girls working were extremely pleasant as well. The food is incredible. Everything is seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. The portions are very generous and the toast selection is phenomenal. We had the meat lovers omelette and the raspberry oatmeal pancakes. The pancakes were the best I've ever had, and they're going to keep me full for a very long time because of the oats that were mixed into the batter, I didn't even put syrup on them they were that good. I also ordered a side of the duck sausage and that was amazing too. It was seasoned so well and had a citrusy taste. I highly recommended checking out The Wild Boar if you're in the area.
