But'n'ben - Arbroath

The But n Ben is a charmingly small restaurant tucked away, and the atmosphere is delightful. Margo and her staff are incredibly welcoming. The food may not be extravagant, but it is exceptionally delicious and all freshly prepared. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys dining in a lovely setting with great food. Mmmmm!

I just got home from enjoying a fantastic 3-course meal at But n Ben. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the hake in lemon butter with capers. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if seafood isn't your thing, as there are plenty of other options available. Yum!

Oh, I love this place. the arbroath smokie pancakes are just over delicious. margot is a star, she always greets with such warmth and the waiting staff are exemplary. we have visited this restaurant for more than 16 years and my man family far longer. it's a joy. I just wish we'd live 5 hours closer!

The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I ordered the Whistle Salmon Salad, which was beautiful.
