I’m deducting one star because we initially wanted to order the scallops with garlic and bean vermicelli, which is a recommended dish, but they weren’t available that day.
There was an incredible variety of dishes, and the textures and flavors were unlike anything I've experienced before. However, the presentation of the meal I received didn't quite match the stock photo, which might have influenced my rating.
This restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers excellent service. However, it is on the pricier side. The duck sliders, which are similar to Peking Duck, were very tasty, though the duck skin could have been crispier. The Kung Pao chicken was outstanding, although it was loaded with peanuts. The sauce was delicious. The shrimp rice was light and fluffy, unlike the overly soy-sauced versions found in many other places. On the downside, the sweet and sour pork was a bit disappointing even though the meat was perfectly cooked and free of gristle. Unfortunately, the sauce had a strong tomato flavor, which overshadowed the dish's overall taste. Overall, the food is good, with an extensive menu. What truly sets this place apart, however, are its stunning visuals.
The prices are a bit high, but they offer the best Peking duck and sweet and sour fish!
I ordered the pork shank and it was incredibly flavorful. The oxtail soup was more like a bouillon than I anticipated, but it was well done. I’ll definitely be back to try the duck!
