We randomly selected this friendly restaurant in this beautiful village. what a chance! the cachena, the local bark, its juicy taste and its perfect cook was remarkable! I still feel that it is fantastic taste in my mouth. the service and the daurade, just like the duck were also excellent. But the cachena was really a trouvaille, a new thing for us. and later we saw these animals walking around the village, a local speciality! that was januar, we have to come back in the early or summer!
We ate here on the two nights that we stayed at Soajo. This is a family-owned restaurant, run with enthusiasm, friendliness, and the love of top quality ingredients and traditional cooking. Come here and be greeted sincerely, fed very well, and welcomed back again.
We ate Posta Cachena, chocolate cake and Bolo de Mel! I have no words to describe the quantity and quality of the food! Perfectly cooked!
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends that have eaten there many times. We were not disappointed. We shared the local beef dish, the meat was cooked to perfection. The very helpful waitress suggested a local wine to accompany the food and that was lovely too. This is a place not to miss when staying in Soajo.
