Mcalister's Deli - Ardmore

The staff noticed that it was a guest's birthday today, and I saw them go above and beyond to ensure it was a memorable occasion! The food is consistently delicious, and the manager is incredibly welcoming. Food: 5/5

I placed a pick-up order and drove to the window to collect it. When I arrived, the employee opened the window but didn't say anything, just stared at me. I greeted her with, “Hello, I have a pick-up order for...” She handed me my order, and I drove home. Once I got home, I realized that there was no salad dressing included for my salad. I’ve been inside a few times, and the restaurant has always been very clean with a pleasant atmosphere. I understand that finding employees can be challenging, but their customer service and order preparation really need some improvement.

We visited as a group of five, but the manager wouldn’t open the other section for us to sit together. I ordered the tortilla soup, but it turned out to be little more than a cheese soup with just two pieces of chicken in it. I won’t be returning. Food rating: 2/5.

I came in for lunch today to grab a quick bite to eat. One lady greeted me as I entered the store, making me feel welcome. Once I got to the counter to place my order, that welcomed feeling subsided. I felt as if my presence were an inconvenience, and not worth the staff’s time, nor effort. There were no smiles, upbeat attitudes; no effort to make the environment- or my experience, a positive one. To add to this, my sandwich was thrown together without care. I asked for a little extra mayo and honey mustard, but instead my sandwich was drenched in both sauces. It was so difficult to eat without making a mess. I understand having a bad day, or not wanting to be at work, but that doesn’t mean paying customers should have to be neglected.

Wow! What an amazing experience. Stopped coming from OKC on the way to Ft Worth, and let me say their customer service is AMAZING. As my sister and I ate, we got asked not once, not twice, but 7 TIMES if everything was good! As we walked out the door, we were asked one more time if we needed anything and I decided to make it worth their time and all the times they asked so I hurried and drank my water and they ran outside to give me a refill. They brought me it to the car and even added a lemon wedge. Wow. They also asked me if I needed anything else. 10/10.
