The Tasting Room - Ardmore

Last night, I went to dinner with two friends. The restaurant has a maximum capacity of 20 guests, and you can choose to dine in or take out. It’s a BYOB establishment, which I didn’t see mentioned on their website, but they informed me about it when I made the reservation. The food was outstanding, and the service was very attentive. I appreciated that we could try different tasting portions, allowing us to explore the menu more thoroughly. The ingredients were fresh, and the menu was quite creative! Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for dinner!

Fantastic dining experience! The menu offers a wide variety of choices, featuring comforting classics like their rich Mac-and-Cheese, as well as dishes with exciting, exotic flavor combinations, such as the Tunisian Cod. The staff is warm and friendly, eager to share their delicious local specialties. Each dish is available in three different sizes, providing great flexibility for all appetites. Although the cozy restaurant located in the supermarket can be a bit chilly in the winter, that doesn’t deter food lovers like me who adore fresh, seasonal gourmet cuisine!

The food was great. We sampled the tasting platter of five starters and rated four out of five of them highly (the Bäuse, broccoli, and organic cauliflower were standout dishes). The roasted potatoes were good but didn’t quite match the quality of the other dishes. The butternut ginger squash soup was decent—slightly on the thin side but still tasty. Overall, it was excellent value for money and definitely worth the visit.

Fresh, delicious food. Incredibly pleasant staff. Options for people with any kind of food restrictions. Small cozy place if you decide to eat there. I was impressed for the first time that I definitely went back.

Never a bad experience. Everything is so fresh and tasty that I keep coming back for more. It's best to get the tasting size of a lot of a few things to try. Don't skip on dessert either, their ice cream is always good.
