I sort of feel that the owners of the building don 't understand how good restaurants work. I doubt it will be running for long, if it still is open.
This place is simply awesome! It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere, however I find the food and the service better than many places I have been in the big city. Their burgers along with price dominate Culver's. This is the place to go for great food at crazy low prices!
Not impressed by our first time here. OK food but SLOW kitchen. Stopped by after APT only one other table of 6 or 8 in the dining area. Waitress quickly brought menus took our drink order. Drinks food order (taco salad, chicken bacon ranch salad, chicken melt sandwich) was fast. Then the place started filling up. And we saw people coming going w/to go orders. First salad came but then nothing for 10+ minutes. Waitress came to question sandwich order. We had her bring the main salads. The sandwich took awhile. Food was good but salad lettuce was a little large. Check to a bit, too. We'll give it one more try but not soon.
Okay if you are going to put bar and grill on the damn sign STAY OPEN PAST 9PM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I have TRIED to go to this damn place 5 TIMES NOW. FIVE TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LIVE LIKE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wanted to go out for some beers only place in this town to go, guess what. THEY WERE CLOSED. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AT 9. Forget this place. I have a better chance at spending my money on liquor by going to the Crappie Shop next door. They are open till 9 too, and there beer prices are way cheaper...AND THEY HAVE BETTER FISH!!!!!!! This place sucks. They can 't stay open for customers but they can keep the lights on just low enough so whoever is still in there past 9 can drink to their hearts content. What a waste of space and time.
I feel a little guilty giving this place one star, but it is like ground hog day. This is the third time this bar has been open in 18 months. Now with a new name different management but always the same problems. Poor food, not so cheap prices, and no reason to go in. Salad was lettuce and dressing was the tasteless cheap ****. Pasta was mushie, precooked? Sauce was flavorless, ground meat and tomato paste? chicken was tough, flavorless and the cheese. WTF ot aged provolone, but maybe a craft single? So maybe this is what I get for going to a bar to eat. Did I tell you they were out of every thing as far as MY food choices went. The had ribeye on the menu, and I was told they were looking for a cheaper vendor so they were out?? The bartender was of the gruff sort. ot much on the people skills, but all and all nice. The bar was empty..... I drive from Madison every day. My advice; Rookies, Bay 5 Dinner, Trader's are all leaps and bounds better.
