We drank and ate here a couple of times during our short holiday and found it very reasonable and nice food, nothing spectacular, but it suited us.

We sat in the outdoor area and we were ignored for initially. Then the waitress (who was nice) came to take our order, and we ordered coke for the kids Sangria for the adults. The 2nd waitress came back with just the coke and told us there was no Sangria, so we said that’s fine and asked what is there, and she just shrugged her shoulders. So we asked for a menu, she was annoyed, she went inside, had a fight with whoever was behind the counter in front of everyone (or, she was shouting about us), slammed the menu down in front of us and told us all we could order was gin, nothing else, even though other people had different beers, and we had to order because the kids already had something. No manners, so we left after that. We do not speak a lot of Spanish, but we tried, it felt like it was because we were not local, because the staff were very nice to anyone they recognised. We understand that it can be frustrating to serve people who don’t speak your language, but we were not rude otherwise, we were just trying to have a nice family holiday. It’s a shame because we saw it yesterday were looking forward to eating here, and we would have been happy to have more drinks. When we went to pay, the 1st waitress who had served us was obviously ignoring me, so a very nice girl behind the counter eventually served us, and I told her (using Google Translate) that she was the nicest waitress there. The table was messy when we left, because of the kids, and we could hear the waitress shouting about it. If we weren’t treated so badly, we might have stayed longer and made more of an effort to tidy, but there was really no point, we were not wanted.

Nicely situated but the Calamari a la Romana were inedible. In stead of nice crisp coating it was so flowery and soggy that it was sticking in one’s mouth The carpaccio itself was ok the cheese barely there no pine nuts or a pinch of rocket salad or any other salad variety.
