Restaurante Sambambaia's - Arequipa

From the outside, it looks like a modern pizzeria but on the inside it's an upscale modern restaurant. Food was good, not great. Waiter was excellent. Drinks OK. A little pricy- but it was open and Tipica was not. Left satisfied. TripAdvisor listed this as...closed but it's definitely open again.

New, clean with a large window to the immaculate kitchen. English menus. Good value with not unduly high prices. Large menu, modern, well-stocked bar with good pisco sours. Staff are attentive, personable and English is available. Our nearby hotel (Queen 's Villa) recommended it and we...are grateful. Food is ample and well above average. Varied free snack to begin. Quiet and elegant. Our go to place in Arequipa. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed.

This place has been around for many years and still attracts a loyal following among Arequipenos. The service is good and all the dishes we tried were very well prepared. I especially like camarones (crayfish) when they are in season.

Popular location for top-class cities. Good quality live piano music, good food, excellent service by Mario. Prices slightly higher

Have a nice ambience and decent menu, it was The Mining Fair Week and everything was crowded. We order some appetizers and drinks, about 1 hour to be served. Another hour to get the main dishes cold, and each request took another 30 minutes, a bottle of water as an example. They accept more cartridges than they can treat, big mistakes.
