We arrived around 6.30 pm on a January evening and found a nice table for two at the back of the restaurant. The service was low key but good and we could not believe the size of the pizzas when they arrived - regretting having already had a most enjoyable starter. A few other people arrived whilst we were there and whilst not busy, there were enough people in and out to create a lovely friendly relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed our evening and felt it was very good value for money
Found this gem of a restaurant during our Canal du Midi cruise .after walking up a meandering road to the heart of Argeliers and finding it on a typical but quiet French street..Very friendly owner/chef. Made us two pizzas, one traditional fully loaded the other crème freche...each around 8 Euros and huge....absolutely delicious. Memorable. Definitely the best pizza we have had in any country. Hope it is still around on our next venture to France....would definitely make an effort to visit again.
Great pizza and service. Fancied a beer and they had run out! Seems popular with the locals and gives good value for money.
We stumbled across this little local restaurant on a Monday night and we were happy that we did. We all had pizzas and all three pizzas came out and were simple and very tasty. I really liked the thin base. We had no complaints. The service was solid and overall it was a pleasant evening.
The others in the restaurant were eating pizza and were very satisfied from what I could see. My magnet was asked for medium but it was burnt on the outside and the fat not rendered properly and rare and tough on the inside. I ate less than half. On the upside I wasn't going to complain and willing to pay full price. The owner was obviously distressed that the meal was not up to scratch and reduced the cost considerably. Great customer service
