Who has eaten at a routiers' truck stop will know exactly what is expected here. if they're not for a tasty bite. no michelin stars here, only simple house cooking and many of them from a set table d’hote menu. excellent value for 13.00 Euro... each had 4 courses, including a carafe red wine and a coffee. serve a cold buffet with more choices to begin than they have a stock of e.g. salates of lenses, remoulade of sellerie, pork tomatoes, vegetables, cornichons, roulette d’oie, leberwurst, parma ham, boiled ham, salamis and much more poke. the main thing at our day were tete de veau or crepinette de porc art by pork mince burger) boiled potataoes and tons brot. cheese plate next to and a good selection of about 10 possibilities including goats and bleu d’auvergne. desserts choice of: chocolate mousse, crème caramel, crème au pistache, fromage blanc and a kind trifle with obst, sponge and custard. all very tasty, and as good as they find everywhere.
