We did have a lovely hot chocolate and a really nice piece of chocolate cake, enough to keep us going for the next part of the journey.
We are a Spanish family and we are traveling through Scotland, today we stopped for lunch in this Cafe, we met the waitress, she is Spanish! she counseled us with food and talked about the Loch Lomond, we ate sandwiches and rolls, the soup today was a butternut squash, we congratulate the chef for it , everything was good. And eat with those views is wonderful. Thank you. Gracias
After a long and windy road trip, it was lovely to stop for a tea and scone at the stop. Clean, friendly and good options for light lunch and sweets. Family friendly too.
We stopped by here for coffee and bacon rolls, both which were fresh and good.My wife had a homemade fruit scone which she also said was delicious. The girl who served us was helpful and it was ideal for a quick coffee and roll with good views.
From the outside it was a lovely little tea room with plenty parking. Walked in and the first thing I saw was dirty dishes everywhere. There were a few couples eating and one clean free table which we sat down at and at least 6 other tables with food dishes pilled up. The floor was swimming with water but it was raining heavy so wouldn't hold that against the place. The tea and the large slice of carrot cake was rather nice and the young lad serving was very pleasant and helpful but the place was filthy. The coffee machine was covered in coffee granules new and used) and spilled milk. A quick clean down would have made a huge difference but it was not to be in the time we were there, nor were any plates cleared. The place wasn't that busy so no excuse for the state. A quick pee and then we were on our way, I wished I held it in, not a pleasant experience :
