Rakogonia - Argyroupoli

After a long walk through the area around Piraeus our small group of six, tired of a long walk and hungry and thirsty, stumbled on this restaurant. It was in the early afternoon on a Sunday and they looked very quiet, but they welcomed us in. We were very pleased. The facilities are good and the tables are spacious. The menu is not very diverse and probably takes its inspiration from its Cretan origins, reflected in the decoration. It turned out to be one of the best afternoons we had. The food was good and I could go back happy and have the vegetable salad (it is a green salad with a delicious dressing and a part of deep roasted squid every day. It is very obviously a local restaurant and as the afternoon continues to fill tables and the atmosphere it is more lively. What made it so excellent was the attentive staff who encouraged us to taste new dishes and drinks that we have previously explored. The desserts and the fire water we drank (Rakia ensured that we had a long and laughing afternoon. A real joy. Thanks for a nice afternoon. Excellent local, non-tourist modern tavern to taste and taste a ton of large Greek foods.

Another way through food tradition. Beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. Food is of beautiful quality and has some really interested ideas and flavors to introduce. Most dishes are affected by Cretan traditional cuisine, so enjoy food along with some homemade Raki . The staff is really polite and professional. Worth a visit.
