I am one of the AARP members who frequent Arivaca Street as motorcyclists. On my first visit, I ordered the recommended special, a burrito. It was a bland brownish-gray paste wrapped in a flour tortilla. Despite finding it unappetizing, the owner/cook insisted it was not. My second visit was last Sunday at 9 o'clock, and when I arrived, the illuminated sign indicated the restaurant was open. I entered and ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Three more customers came in and were served before me. When I inquired about my order, the young man informed me they were out of croissants and I needed to choose something else, even though I had already paid and waited. I settled for biscuits and gravy, which arrived lukewarm atop clearly frozen biscuits and served on a napkin. Unfortunately, there was nothing positive to say about this dish. I wanted to complain, but hesitated due to the young man's visible handgun holstered at his hip. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast burrito at this restaurant. It was delicious and filling, and there was a variety of hot sauces to choose from. The staff was very friendly. However, please note that the full regular menu is only available on certain days, so it's best to check in advance.
This restaurant serves amazing Mexican cuisine made with hand-selected gourmet ingredients. The best hamburger I have ever had was made with premium quality meat. The service was excellent, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
What a great experience. this is real homemade food, not processed Sysco junk, which we often find in distant caffes. we enjoyed burritos and the coffee was made with extra magie, that is high quality coffee and my boobs was to die. service was also so friendly. do not miss the secret sharp red salsa.
Great addition to the sparse food options in the area. Good people, food, and outdoor space. I hope they get their full menu going on the weekdays.
