I come here often whether solo or with friends and I have never been disappointed. Food is good at a reasonable price and the service is good.
We were lured in by a good breakfast deal advertised outside. Sat down and nobody brought us menus so I had ask. Then nobody came to take the order and I had to go to the counter. I was also asked to pay before eating which is very unusual. The breakfast was really bad scrambled egg like rubber, bacon barely cooked and sausages anaemic and sour. Would not recommend this awful place to anyone. We couldn't even ask for a discount as we had already paid.
I have visited Cafe Aroma several times for lunch. It is a great place to dine alone as you do not stand out. The food is always well presented, great choices, nutritious and quite reasonable
Stumbled into this little cafe with a friend and was pleasantly surprised! I can't have gluten so I was delighted when they told me that they had gf bread. We both had the chicken, cheese and mayo pannini (mine on the gf bread), I had hot chocolate and my friend had tea. The drinks came quickly and then the sandwiches followed soon after. I was delighted with mine! Normally when you ask for a gf substitue, you get two tiny slices of dry bread with a scrape of filling; I was pleasantly surprised to be handed a plate with four slices of beautifully toasted bread nicely filled with the tasty chicken and cheese. I noticed that the staff hadn't put crisps on my plate, with which I was delighted- They obviously knew that the crisps weren't gf and left them off the plat, something that you don't see in most places. We sat and chatted for about an hour, good atmosphere for a cafe and a cosy setting. Highly recommend!
