Cokers Bbq - Arlington

We understand prices have risen in the last two years due to all the stuff happening in the world, but uuggh what a total let down this place turned out to be for BBQ. For the price $18) a 3 meat platter was a joke. 2 ribs, 3 of bologna, 3 slices of brisket cut in half and two small sides. I only ate about half of one rib, three slices of bologna Sausage) and about a 2 piece of brisket because it was absolutely HORIBLE. The ribs where blackened pieces of charcoal and had a disgusting consistency to the meat. The sausage was a boiled ring bologna, no BBQ flavor what so ever. The brisket had no smoke ring, was cold and had a huge amount of un-rendered fat clinging to it. My wife ordered a chopped brisket sandwhich. It looked like a blended cowpie. She took one bite and spit it out. We would never recommend this place to anyone for BBQ. Food: 1 Service: 3

Great place, not normally a BBQ person. The meats are seasoned so well, don't dare drown them in sauce. Potato salad and fried okra are my sides. Dining room is filled with antique coke signs and memorabilia. I've only used the drive-through, so I can't comment on the atmosphere, but the food and service are wonderful. Food: 5 Service: 5
