Lazy Dog Restaurant Bar - Arlington

We had another great dinner at Lazy Hund! We always enjoy our go-to dishes and drinks. Amanda was very friendly and took excellent care of us. It’s always a pleasure to receive such great service. The food and service were perfect, just like always.

This is a lovely place, and I appreciate that they allow dogs. However, the service was virtually non-existent. After being seated outside, we waited 16 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and it seemed like they had forgotten about us until another table was seated. When we finally got our beer, it took an additional 20 minutes, and it was brought by someone other than our waitress, despite us inquiring about our drinks. There were only 4 cars in the parking lot, so they weren't busy for a Friday at 3:00 PM. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this place, and the house beers were quite good. However, the poor outdoor service on such a hot and beautiful day was disappointing.

A friend and I chose this restaurant to celebrate our belated birthdays. As soon as we arrived, our waiter Ryan greeted us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The restaurant itself was clean and had a soothing, well-lit ambiance. For appetizers, we ordered the waffleries, queso, deviled eggs, and lettuce wraps, but unfortunately, we were not very impressed with those. However, the burgers were incredible! I ordered the peanut butter burger, and it was delicious!

I say I'm a buttercake fanatic! And above all from Lazy Dog when it is done right. I had her butter cake twice. This was more on the dry side, so I took it. But every other day it melts me! Lol The food is great here and Erin took care of us and was very hospitable. My husband ordered the chicken pancake, but it was too sweet for his taste. In return, he ordered the Bison meat leaf with potato pulp. It was not what he imagined and the texture of the meat was very soft. The first time, too. I had the Umamiries with the spicy ribs. You were good, but I wouldn't order again. The sauce for the frits and ribs were great!

I have been thinking about trying this place for a while but was very skeptical. The service was great. And because it was my first time there they gave me a complimentary welcome appetizer. The food was delicious. They offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Very nice atmosphere. I will definitely return.
