I think this place has changed. First time it was a nice experience. Now workers are just rude and mean. They don’t want to do their job. They don’t provide any good customer service. They didn’t even make my drink correct. The place is nice but customer service and drinks are a down fall. Also unless the workers were that rude who doesn’t have branded cups?? It was a cold hot drink as well.

Pastries here are pretty good! Especially the strawberry danish. The place is also super cute. The only bad thing is the staff. I’ve had multiple different experiences with staff giving me attitude for asking if theyre still in stock of an item and one time a staff member was texting on her phone while taking out order and didnt even look at me.

Tip! Try everything!My favorites: almond-mocha croissant, old fashion donut, seasonal ginger cookie, artichoke croissant for savory, quiche, seasonal pies…so much to try!Love the upstairs Brookfield location in the Financial District; grab and head outside to the marina.

Coffee was great La Colombo beans, but feels very corporate.Did not have a pastry, to be fair.

This company is awful! You can reach out on social media and their email forms located on their website and they just ignore you. For years now I have reached out and received nothing. It’s not a surprise your Navy Yard location closed. You cant even return a simple email or instagram message, makes sense you could not run a business properly. It’s sad you offer delicious treats and bottom of the barrel customer service. It amazes me in 2024, when everyone talking about how expensive life is, that you wouldn’t be interested in making a sale. Y’all used to make a delicious Watergate cake for Gatsby. All I wanted to know if it’s something that can be special ordered from yall now that you aren’t with Gatsby. Why is it so hard to answer me? I’m trying to give you business and you just don’t care. Why? Do you hate gay people, white people, men, or just don’t care enough about customer service? Not sure I’d even have happiness or excitement now if you ever did offer this cake. I’m so mad at your lack of caring I don’t think I could ever enjoy your foods again without instantly being reminded of this situation. Terrible service from a company offering delicious treats. How pathetic.
