Initially, the menu was brought to us and then we had to go to two different counters in two different spaces to place our order. This process was confusing as different items on the menu were split between the two counters. The staff at the counters were not very helpful. Despite the confusion, the biryani was amazing, the samosas were good, and the Dahi-Bhallas were decent. Overall, if you're looking for a Desi restaurant with authentic Punjabi flavors, this is a good choice. I would give it one star less due to the confusion in ordering and the customer service.
During our visit to a friend in DC who is a vegetarian, he recommended this restaurant for dinner. I believe it is the best restaurant I have tried in the USA so far. The chicken karahi and kebabs were delicious, but the chole was my favorite. The restaurant was busy and it took some time to get a table, but I am looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes. Follow me on IG: Travel_man16.
