Furthermore, they often forget to bring a cup for your fountain drink when they bring your food. You have to go ask for a cup for the drink you already paid for.
I would not feed this mystery meat garbage to my dog. I am writing this review in a state of hunger-induced anger. The Uber Eats delivery was quick, but the meal was inedible. I cannot identify the type of meat used, but it certainly does not resemble any kind of chicken that should be served in a restaurant. The appearance of the dish is unappetizing and the taste is just as disappointing. The portion size is much smaller than expected for traditional pho, although the price is slightly cheaper compared to other places. The spring rolls were also subpar. The only decent part of the order (I hesitate to call it a meal) was the sweet and spicy sauce, which tasted like it came from a store-bought jar. I even tried letting the noodles soak for half an hour, but they still had the consistency and texture of rubber.
I love the concept of the restaurant: a two story fast casual place (it has touchscreens that you order from and a self serve soda machine) that allows you to get your food quickly. I 've been here twice and ordered the spicy oxtail pho and it was a major letdown. The pho was more expensive than other places and yet it was not spicy in the slightest. I don 't mean I have a high spice tolerance so I didn 't really taste the heat I mean I 'm not sure if they even put a single spicy item here because there is absolutely no spice whatsoever . Everyone at my table agreed including folks without a spice tolerance. Instead of a spicy flavor, the broth was overly oily and you need to add some sriracha and/or hiosin for it to taste good. The broth does not taste all that rich or flavorful by itself.A friend went here soon after it was open and raved about how good the spicy oxtail was but when he came the second time (with me), he said that it was very different than what he had. I 'm not sure if we caught them on two bad days (we came at not busy times slightly after your normal lunch time) or if their quality of food has declined since opening, but after two tries, I 'm not going to try this again. The quantity of the oxtail is decent though mine did not have any pieces with bones or tendon, which I would usually expect. It ended up tasting pretty similar to braised beef. For how much the pho costs, I was expecting much better. The dish was a real letdown.
Stumbled on this place on my walk and decided to check it out! This eatery basically combines multiple restaurant brands into their ordering system and you can pick and choose what you want in your order. Food choices mainly consisted of a variety of viet food, milk/fruit teas, and there was even poke on the menu!I opted for the fusion fruit tea and herbal hibiscus from Teas'n You. Two words: SO REFRESHING! The perfect choice of drink for a hot and humid day. The fusion fruit tea was strawberry passion fruit tea and it came with strawberry bits, lychee bits, and lychee jelly. The herbal hibiscus was hibiscus tea with mixed berries and lychee jelly. The base price for the drinks were around $6, added additional boba for 50 cents, and so it came out to around $7 each after tax. Considering the amount of toppings before my add-on, these drinks are definitely worth the price! Also, if you check-in on yelp, you can get 2 free egg rolls! This was a game changer because I took one bite, and they were probably the best egg rolls I've had in a really long time. The outside was so crisp and the fillings were so flavorful. If the rest of their menu tastes as good as these egg rolls, this place is truly unstoppable. Overall, new favorite spot for fruit teas. Excited to come back and try their other drinks as well as their food options!
Generally, I liked my experience here. It's in a very convenient location. Ambiance: (4/5) This isn't a place where you can sit and eat, but for what it is it is spacious. There is a little bit of bench seating in the corner. Price: (4/5) I thought portions were a bit small for the price, but not by much since they do provide 2 rolls with the bowls.Food: (4/5) I thought it was really good but you definitely need extra sauce (which is an extra $0.50). The noodles are not seasoned at all so the sauce is what gives it flavor. I got spicy peanut which was not spicy so don't be scared. It was flavorful. I like all the toppings. The fusion tea is a must try. I loved the lychee at the bottom.Service: (5/5) Even with long lines, the service is fast.In conclusion I was to try more.
