Absolutely amazing! I discovered Taste of Europe while searching for available tables in my area (Midcities). The interior is charming, but the real highlights are the exceptional service and food. My partner ordered the meat trio sampler, which included goulash, stroganoff, and mushroom-stuffed meatloaf. I couldn't resist sampling each dish, and I found all three to be fantastic. The goulash tasted just like my Hungarian grandmother used to make, bringing back wonderful childhood memories. The sampler was enormous—my strong partner could barely finish it! I opted for the jager schnitzel, and it was incredible; perfectly tender, lightly fried, and served with a beautifully seasoned gravy that rivaled what I've had in Berlin, Cologne, and even from my ex's mother's kitchen. We brought home cheese blintzes to enjoy the next morning. My partner beat me to them and raved about how amazing they were—sweet, creamy, and perfectly tender. The service here is outstanding—efficient, super friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Taste of Europe is definitely on my short list now!

Food very good and loved having sample platters so we could try several dishes at once. The owner was delightful, very personable and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was satisfactory. Can't wait to return for the Borscht soup- yum!

We were pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant near our hotel. Although it was somewhat off the beaten path and not particularly impressive from the outside, stepping inside felt like a trip back in time. We quickly found our desired dish, which was a cherished favorite from years past. The owner was incredibly friendly and offered great assistance with the menu for our friends, and the beers were expertly described based on individual preferences. The homemade desserts were exceptional. I will definitely return the next time I'm in that area of Texas.

We opted for the sampler plates to experience a wide variety on our first visit, and we will definitely be returning.
