There are some delightful donkeys in the field, and a fascinating group of totems made by local artists which are entertaining and amusing. I don't know if the totems are a permanent feature. The restaurant was very quiet on the day we visited, which was a shame, because we had a lovely lunch, freshly cooked and beautifully served. Perhaps it would be busier in the evening. I hope so: it deserves to be.
The place can be a little difficult to find, just a little outside of Armeau on the N6. It is well worth the detour however. Located in a rural setting, with nice outside and inside seating areas. The menus are very affordable, the wine selection features mostly local wines and the food, which also features local specialties, is quite good. Service can be a little slow since this is a small scale operation so allow a little bit of extra time. Also make reservations as the place can fill very quickly on week ends.
Top tops Tribute for closure but it's for a good cause .... Enjoy a maximum of this retreat and can be other projects ... Happy holidays B R
Very good restaurant I highly recommend, but I think it closes at the end of the year...
Nice. Good smiling service. Especially good dishes.
