Mun Hing Restaurant - Armidale

We visit Armidale twice a year and always have dinner at this restaurant. The service can be inconsistent at times, but it is usually due to how busy they are. The staff are always apologetic if there is a wait. The food is fantastic and never fails to impress. We are always drawn back to the retro 70s vibe of the restaurant, as these classic places often have the best flavors. The bar menu may be outdated, but their BYO policy is accommodating. Give it a try and be patient if they are busy!

I have been a patron of Mung Hing since it was originally a fish and chip shop where fries were only six pence. The portions are generous and taking leftovers home in a box is always an option. They also offer private dining and event spaces. They have buffet meals on select days of the week and welcome group banquets of 4 or more. The buffet is no longer available unless booked for a party. The carpet could use a thorough cleaning, but the food remains delicious.

Wow the takeaway was hot, fresh, tasty, large amount. Value for money. My Armidale family this is there go to. I can see why good food

I love the fried rice(nasi goreng), capcay. Because I like sweet, that foods little salty. After all is good. Recommended for Muslim. But you must order first not pork,no jam anda no baccon. Good service
