The Bistro Grill - Armidale

I used to enjoy dining at the bowling club, but I heard that they have outsourced their restaurant and it has really declined. I ordered the chicken boscaiola and although it looked decent when it arrived, the sauce was watery and bland. Without the parmesan to add some flavor, it would have been terrible. The club should go back to their previous setup, which was much better. They are at risk of losing customers.

The staff was friendly and provided great service. The steak was cooked perfectly and was served with fresh vegetables on the side. Definitely worth a return visit.

The menu offers a nice variety of dishes. Our group tried some main meals as well as some shared starters like arancini, camembert, and bao buns, all of which we highly recommend!

Quick service. Popular on a Saturday evening, wise to book, food was very tasty,generous,a huge variety. Quick service. Group bookings were there.

Food was okay but you need to stick to the trusty club meals. The John Dory wasn’t so good and the butter sauce was literally butter. Service is good and serves decent.
