I booked a 2 room king suite for 5 of us (2 adults, 3 kids) and it was the perfect size to not feel crammed in a hotel room! We checked in about 5, and Hannah at the front desk was really kind and helpful and also made check in really quick. The lobby is really clean and well lit. Our kids used the pool area until around closing time, which was really clean and well kept. The breakfast Sunday morning had a really nice set up, a lot of options and employees keeping it clean at all times. I was really impressed by the breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again next time we fly out of St. Louis!
It's a nice hotel. When we got to our room, we did find an old pair of socks on the floor. When we opened up the pull out couch, the sheets were pretty darn gross. Wife noticed toe nails and food. We ripped those sheets off, called for new ones and they came up in about 6 minutes. Customer service is great, but I wonder how well the sheets are really cleaned/ or recycled. Staff is friendly and the managers are super nice. We stayed in the 2 room suite. It's pretty nice, can be a tad dark. It's a large room which is great for having some space. The kickback 30 dinner is decent but free. But for free you cannot complain. I mean, they also give each adult 3 free drinks. It's cheaper wine like Liberty Creek which is drinkable , bud light drinkablity is debatable and some wells liquor. Most nights have hotdogs, salad and nachos. They are what you'd expect. one night they had meatballs which I'll admit were actually pretty good. Another night they had pulled pork BBQ sliders and again they were good. They also do a great job of cleaning up the dining hall after folks leave. The free breakfast is also pretty legit. They have a little something for everyone. I think I'd rather have this free kickback meal over some fast food places. Unfortunately, no Dr. Pepper: Washer and dryer seems to have issues. Beds are ok. Not super comfortable, but not miserable either. They certainly make me miss our bed at home. They have an indoor pool that also connects to the outside and you can swim outside but swimming under a divider.
Full disclosure my wife worked with Chuck Drury's wife and I sold him a car. The next disclosure is they would not remember me or my wife. : Mrs K. made this reservation for the Pear tree on line. When we arrived we were told the Pear Tree was sold out (Drury Owns Pear Tree . We were upgraded to a very nice suite at no extra charge. Great customer service. They are a great middle to upper tier motel.
I stayed in a 2 room suite with my best friend and her two younger children. It was the perfect hotel for us! The front desk crew was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well maintained clean. Breakfast and the evening kickback both had a nice selection to pick from. The staff made sure to keep the food hot, fresh and stocked up. 24 hr access to a soda fountain was a great bonus. The pool area was spacious enough to spread out and was always well kept. The front desk staff was some of the friendliest hotel staff I've ever encountered. We interacted with at least 7 employees, from front desk to housekeeping, and they were all so nice. Another bonus was that this hotel was close to a Wal-Mart, grocery store, Starbucks, gas stations, etc. I will definitely stay here again!
Employees are extremely polite. Every staff member that I came across greeted me and were very helpful in general. My family and I were asked multiple times if we needed anything. Such a great experience!
