Chao Chao - Arnold

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the gluten-free options available! I tried the gluten-free skin-on fries and the gluten-free traditional sweet and sour chicken, and I enjoyed every single bite. As someone with celiac disease, I truly appreciate how well you cater to gluten-free diets, and you do an excellent job. This was the first Chinese meal I've had in eight years that wasn't just a plate of vegetables, and I will definitely be returning! My husband ordered the Korean chicken wings and raved about them, claiming they were the best he's ever had. Our order was processed quickly and arrived hot. Thank you!

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time, and it will definitely be the last. I got the chicken egg fried rice, but there was no chicken in it at all—why not just call it egg fried rice? I also tried the chicken chow mein, which was really dry. The prices are very high for what you get. I’m sorry, but I won’t be ordering here again.

Food is tasty and made quickly we can usually collect within 15 minutes. Only downside is that it’s quite expensive.

Sadly just had the worst experience from Chao chao after ordering from them many times in the past. The order was incorrect and the wait was significant. I understand that mistakes can be made, but ringing the restaurant we experienced the worst customer service I think I have ever had. We let them know our order was wrong and wanted a refund. Was told that they would go to another customer who recieved our order and swap this over. Ordinarily I wouldn't accept this, but we both have covid so this was even more unwise which they weren't happy with. The guy on the end of the phone accused us of lying then hung up on us. What an absoloute shame as this used to be our favourite place to order.

Such a shame that such a good restaurant has let themselves down by lying and blaming UberEats for their failure to prepare orders on time. The point of Uber is that they don’t need to worry about distribution, why would the flat tyre of a random Uber driver who hasn’t even got our food mean that the order is over 1.5 hours late? And having to chase them for an ETA twice with no phone call from them as a courtesy, completely ruining the point of ordering in for a relaxing evening. It’s a shame to be giving 1 star given the quality of food is so good but integrity really is everything and they’ve lost my trust by lying instead of being honest.
