I was wrong. After I passed this place twice the day for a week and snoring in his menu degustacion, I saw the gushing reviews on this page and suspected that a kind of demolition was in the gang. but it was the closest place at the apartment and we couldn't agree otherwise, so we thought we would try. ... and were pleasantly surprised. it wasn't the deftly executed tasting menu I've ever had, but consisted of a lot of high quality food. And for 22,50 €/£16 a head inclusive wine and water it is enormous value ratio. in a way, I feel regretful for them. the restaurant is located below under a lively bar that shows football on 7 screens. So if you see the menu on a table outside, it's hard to believe that a football club serves decent eating. we had to go into the bar and ask for directions to the restaurant. Maybe if they make it clear on the board that eating was served in a separate restaurant, people could be more willing to visit it.
Early (for Spanish) at thirty-eight and were the only customers in the restaurant shortly after the opening; so we had a choice every table and we sat at the window with a view of the beach. we chose the six curs menu degustacion with a large...bottle of rioja a brilliant decision. because our understanding of the speech is not present, we have assumed that it is 45 euro per, but it turns out that price per couple, what a result we have paid for 45 euro, what we have paid for happy 100 euro for. the service was error-free, the restaurant was modern, light and immaculate with views of the dead. When they read a foodie on otherwise they will take my word that this is a place to visit, not be deposed by the French tram bar, the downstair restaurant is another world. the meal began with a spinach and sunflower croquettes followed by a good gazpacho. after the suppe we had a whip of anglerfish, the fish continued with a well prepared dorada. an oranger sorbet cleared the palette ready for pork, aubergine and a creamy kartoffel, all helped by a beautiful jus. the desert was simply dazzling and saw a hariboe strawberry sweet. all in all a delicious meal. I enjoyed it so much that I photographed every cure!
