The chicken was low quality, brown, very greasy and like grissel. I would not recommend this place. It was busy enough so maybe we just ordered the wrong food.
Have visited this restaurant for many years and would not go anywhere else for a Chinese meal when in Tenerife. The food is of exceptional quality and given the cost (7.50 euro) amazing value. Many people call it Amy's and the sign board should be changed. You will not be disappointed.
We have been to tenerife PDLA many times ..I suggest you dont miss this little jewel of a chinese restuarant and the lovely host Amy. If you are looking for a budget buffet there are lots of delicious dishes here for a very reasonable price which to us are superbly better than others close by . But i would suggest you eat off budget menu and then be prepared for very gorgeous chinese food, freshly prepared, as it should be. We have been back lots to this very nice place many times .Its gets better and better xx
First class service, surroundings and food quality with reasonable prices, set menus value for money.
In the past 4 or 5 years we used to be frequent visitors here. I know the previous review mentioned Amy and her sense of humour. I guess she can be an acquired taste. My family tend to call her chatty Annie because of her frequently chatting to you whilst you 're eating your meal. She does tend to remember people from previous visits and if she sees you out and about will make a point of making a beeline for you to chat. Last year when we went, we made a joke about there not being any mint choc chip ice cream. Next time Amy saw us, she made a point of showing us that she had bought a tub of mint choc chip ice cream especially for us. When we first started visiting this place, we couldn 't find fault. However we went a couple of times last year and as a previous poster has stated, we felt food wasn 't as good as it had previously been. Food looked and tasted as if it had been left out for several hours, food hadn 't been replaced when it was low, leaving the customer with only half of the food options available. It does seem like this restaurant relies heavily on people returning time after time. Sad to say though that after the last time we went, we shall be looking for another Chinese Buffet.
