Nothing like tapas that I have had before and some unusual dishes to enjoy. The venue is spotlessly clean and if you get the chance to have a chat to Antonio one of the owners he is very entertaining. We spent a couple of enjoyable afternoons here, well worth a return visit.
There's nothing you could not dislike with this lolvely Tapas bar and the service was friendly and very warm. Its very well priced and the food is delicious. What more do you need?
Palm-Mar is a small, predominantly residential, resort sandwiched between Los Cristianos and Las Galletas/Costa Silencio. We ventured here in the hire car, as we saw the place name off a roundabout and decided to take a look. After a pleasant stroll along the promenade, overlooking a rugged shore line – just a few spots for people to sunbathe – we ventured down one of the main streets and stopped off into Meigas for a drink and bite to eat. The cafe/bar is run by what appears to be a mother (chef) and daughter (waitress). Drinks were reasonable (for example, €1.50 for a 350ml soft drink and €1.20 for coffee) and there was a good selection of food at reasonable prices too (for example €2 for a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and €4.50 for a hamburger with egg, bacon, cheese, salad and fries). Service was prompt and friendly, and the place appeared to be popular with locals, which is always a good sign. Despite the drive, we went back again the next day, and would go again. Would definitely recommend a visit if you happen to venture into Palm-Mar.
Variety of shops and restaurants and for drinks in the mix.
